RARE 1/4 lb Corning Borosilicate Glass Color Gun Mounts COE 33 Glassblowing Boro

Description

Up for auction is one quarter pound of Baby Blue Original Corning, NY COE 33 borosilicate colored gun mounts in full 6" length of raw form rod.  This is before these glass rods were actually used as gun mounts in the older CRT televisions.   This glass still being of raw form in full 6" length as it was straight from Corning is extremely rare & a lot more thought after than the aftermath of gun mounts from TV's.
This glass is no longer in production & highly demanded for its deep vibrant opaque color with a satin sheen like no other glass on the market today & is very stable in all applications. This particular color Baby Blue is extremely rare and there isn't another boro color produced today that can compare to its end results.  I've found that condensing the rods & mixing the color up tends to give better end results similar to boro bars.
